All the existing models said the moulins went straight to the bed surface. In early winter the caves close up deep in the glacier due to ice pressure, and the system backs up until there is a water table at about 200M from the surface. Jason and I planned to rappel down into the moulin to the water table, which should be frozen, then dive the water table. But the glacier hadn’t heard about the existing model…
