A NOTE FROM OUR CHAIRMAN & CEO
It’s been a little while since my last email and I hope this message finds you and your loved ones healthy and safe. Throughout these last few months, we as a country and a company have pressed pause. We’ve paused on our daily routines—commuting to work, visiting with friends and family and doing some of the things we love most. But what has continued for us at Bloomingdale’s is our belief in humanity and the relationships we have with our customers. This crisis has been the greatest hardship we’ve faced as a brand, and we can’t thank you enough for sticking with us. We are now thoughtfully and diligently working on getting our stores back up and running to better serve you. As we weigh when and where to reopen in accordance with state and local guidelines, our top priority remains the health and safety of our customers and colleagues.
When we have a date for your local store’s reopening, we’ll make sure that you’re the first to know. Throughout all of our locations you’ll find new social-distancing services like contactless curbside pickup and virtual shopping appointments, as well as added precautions such as associate wellness checks and enhanced cleaning protocols. This is all to ensure that when you come back to shop, visit your stylist or just explore your favorite store once again, you can do it in whatever way you feel most comfortable.
