💜 Sherwin-Williams just named a shade of lilac the "Loneliest Color" of 2025. The honor has nothing to do with the color itself, but with the amount of the color the company sold in 2024. Specifically, its "Radiant Lilac" hue was the least-tinted one of last year, and there were less than 1,000 gallons of Radiant Lilac made.
🧊 People are apparently freezing their laundry detergent before using it. In an attempt to DIY less environmentally-friendly detergent pods, many are freezing laundry detergent in silicone molds. But experts warn that doing this may make your detergent less effective due to liquid separation and chemical breakdown with temperature changes.
💡 Dyson unveiled its newest product: an ultra-skinny stick vacuum that's reportedly as skinny as one of its hair dryers. It's also ultralight, weighing just four pounds. The PencilVac doesn't seem like it should be powerful, but it will use the company's smallest and fastest vacuum motor to date. It's expected to be released in the United States in 2026.
