Today, we have questions from Ty, Valerie, and Blake - we're talking about piercing aftercare with nipple piercings, the aftermath of septum piercings, and getting your nose re-pierced. Check out the list of questions below, and be sure to watch my video for the answers in-full. Today's Topics: - "Hello! It’s been just over a year since I got my nipples pierced, and they still aren’t fully healed. I haven’t changed the jewelry since, and I clean them but not as thoroughly as the first 6 months. Should I still be doing the salt soaks? Or does it just take longer to heal?" - Ty - "Hey! I recently got my septum pierced and I decided to let my hole close up. I let it close up last year in December after having it only for a month. But now there is a mark in my nose where you can tell it was pierced, sorta like a bump. It’s doesn’t hurt and I can barely tell it’s there because it’s so small. Should I go get it checked?" - Valerie - "I got my nose re pierced in December. So I have had it for a couple months. It was healing fine. Until a month and a half ago I got a bump by it. I clean it with salt water. However it isn't going away. I talked to a professional piercer and she said to scrub the bump with a q-tip to help clean it more. I have been for a week. Still nothing. No change. What else can I do?" - Blake |
