A message from Andrea Enfield. Development Director for back on my feet. Hi, I’m Andrea. Running is a big part of my life. Since 2018, I’ve run two marathons and am currently training for my third (all in my Bombas Running Socks of course).
This sport has brought many people into my life: friends, coworkers, and even entire communities. Because running has the unique power to bring folks together. Back On My Feet was founded on this simple idea. We use fitness and community to help those experiencing homelessness rebuild their confidence and self-esteem. We also offer essential resources, which has helped over 7,500 of our members find housing and long-term employment.
Running and walking has helped our community grow stronger in more ways than one, and the best way to support us is to actually get out there and run yourself.
We’re hosting a Running Festival in September, and anyone (from anywhere) can run or walk in this virtual race.
