At Boot Barn, we say that our customers feed America, build America, and protect America. And for this reason, we are doing everything we can to keep our doors open to provide the merchandise that you need to help you continue with your daily lives both at home and on the job site, while at the same time keeping you and our store associates safe.

Like many of you, my management team and I have spent significant time and resources trying to learn as much as we can about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and its impact. We are evaluating how it impacts our employees, our customers, and each of the local communities that we serve, and we have made adjustments that we believe are necessary in an effort to ensure a safe working and shopping environment.

We are relying on the guidelines outlined by the CDC and the government in an effort to ensure the safest environment, including taking the following precautions:

  • We have augmented our store cleaning procedures to clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces including door handles, counter tops and hard surfaces.
  • Any associate who is sick or showing any symptoms of being sick is being directed to stay home. We are offering paid leave to any associate affected by this illness, so nobody feels the need to come to work sick.
  • We are directing any employee who has visited any international country on the high risk list to self-quarantine for 14 days.
  • In the event we have a customer or associate who is exposed to COVID-19, we are following the CDC recommendations for testing, quarantine, and sanitizing of any affected areas.
  • We are ensuring that all stores have necessary cleaning supplies to make sure store associate hands are constantly being cleaned and disinfected per the CDC guidelines.
  • My management team and I are meeting daily to reevaluate this difficult situation and are making necessary changes swiftly.

For you, our customer, we remain open to service your needs. Having said that, if you choose not to visit our physical store locations or are not feeling well yourself, we invite you to shop our entire assortment at bootbarn.com and we can have your merchandise delivered right to your home.

We are all in this together across the Boot Barn community, the nation, and the world. The coronavirus has added a great deal of stress and uncertainty to all of our lives. That said, I have complete certainty that collectively we have the resources and resolve to face into this adversity and see ourselves through to a more promising tomorrow.
