This rare Patek Philippe ref. 3445 — the manufacturer’s first calendar watch made in series — is one of only 12 known to have been made in platinum. Dated to 1964, it is stamped HOX, indicating that it was intended for the American market. The hour markers take the form of eight round and three baguette diamonds

The Argentine painter Florencio Molina Campos became famous in South America for his depictions of gaucho life on the pampas. His work brought him to the attention of Walt Disney, and the pair became friends —  it is said that Campos advised on the characters for the1942 movie, Bambi. Untitled (The Mail Coach) was executed in 1947
