To our valued customers, At Clarks, we have been protecting the welfare of our employees, our customers and the general public for nearly 200 years, and this commitment has helped us weather many storms. In these worrying times, our thoughts are with all who have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic, and I wanted to share with you the precautions we are taking in our stores across the UK and Republic of Ireland in response to the outbreak. As our number one priority is the health and wellbeing of our employees and customers, we have expanded our daily practices to maintain a clean and safe environment within our stores by introducing additional measures that reflect the recommended World Health Organisation and Public Health England guidelines. This means that all the busy areas of our stores are being cleaned daily following specific Public Health England guidelines. We are also making sure that all our store teams understand the role each of us can play to help prevent the spread of any germs, including thorough hand washing, avoiding contact with people who are ill and, of course, staying home if they are not feeling well. Our stores remain open for business and our teams look forward to welcoming you, however if you live in the UK and choose to shop with us from home, our full range is available on www.clarks.co.uk Clarks was founded in 1825, the start of a legacy that rests on integrity, passion for craftsmanship and our deep commitment to being responsible in all that we do. This legacy continues to guide how we look after you, our valued customers, when you come into our stores. Please take care of yourselves and each other. Thank you Joe Ulloa General Manager for UK & Republic of Ireland |
