| An Update for Our Customers about COVID-19 At Dollar Tree and Family Dollar, the health and safety of our Customers and Associates is important to us. Like you, in recent weeks, we have spent considerable time learning more about COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and are focusing our efforts on the well-being of our Customers, store and distribution center Associates and the communities we serve. As we navigate through this together, Dollar Tree and Family Dollar stores are open and we remain committed to delivering great values on the products your family needs at this time. What We Are Doing: - We have introduced additional high-frequency cleaning protocols to protect our Customers and Associates.
- We have established a Business Response Team including representatives from each department that is meeting on a daily basis to assess the evolving situation.
- We are requiring our Associates to practice appropriate preventative hygiene methods and providing our facilities with the supplies needed to wash and sanitize hands and work spaces.
- In response to unprecedented demand of many of our cleaners, paper products and over-the-counter health care items, we are working directly with our suppliers to restock our stores as soon as possible. You will see increasing stock levels over the next few weeks.
- We are working with our store teams to answer the questions they may have about COVID-19, our protocols and information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
- Our Associates’ health and welfare is a priority for the Company. Any of our Associates who test positive to COVID-19 will receive up to two weeks of pay without having to use their own paid time off or sick time while they are quarantined.
- We will continue to monitor this situation closely and take guidance from the CDC and local authorities.
