After a year of waiting, the Olympics are happening at last. And when you take a look at our U.S. team, you may notice that something stands out: Their totally wild new sunglasses.

The groundbreaking design is called the Kato, and it was produced by Oakley. Unlike any sunglasses we’ve ever seen before, they wrap around your eyes—but also, your nose. That’s right, a single lens conforms to your face, almost like a mask.

But building Kato was no small feat. Its tailored shape required endless iteration to fit on faces from around the globe. And for the Olympics, especially, fitting every face around the globe was key. Read my story on the incredible new eyewear here.

Eviction moratorium overturned: What you need to know
A federal judge ruled Wednesday that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention lacked the legal authority to impose a national eviction moratorium during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The ruling could potentially impact millions of households that have fallen behind on rent.
It’s unclear so far if the Biden administration will appeal the judge’s ruling, which could lead to the ruling being overturned and potentially to a stay keeping the moratorium in place in the meantime.
Renters in some jurisdictions will still be protected by additional state and local eviction moratoriums, but these don’t apply nationwide.
