A global Covid-19 pandemic, an economic recession, and don’t forget about the “murder hornets.” With so much happening in the first half of 2020, one could be forgiven for almost forgetting there’s a presidential election this year too. And the coronavirus pandemic is going to affect how the candidates campaign in an unprecedented way. Today, Democratic nominee Joe Biden announced that he won’t hold any in-person rallies for the remainder of his presidential campaign to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Though President Trump recently held a controversial rally in Oklahoma, he also announced that he would not be attending a planned rally for former U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions. No word yet, however, on whether or not Trump plans to stop his own rallies. |
