One thing is becoming clear as this pandemic continues: the response to it is getting more and more politicized. In particular, most Americans appear to have a poor opinion of how the Trump Administration is handling the pandemic: a new poll found that 68% of Americans don’t trust what President Trump says about the Covid-19 pandemic. Perhaps that’s because of announcements like the one he made today, when the President said that he’s not subject to state laws that limit indoor events -- and that he still plans to hold a large indoor rally in Nevada. Or perhaps it’s because an official reported by the President took to social media over the weekend with claims that there is a rogue “resistance unit” inside the CDC that plans on assassinating the President. Trump isn’t the only politician facing criticism. A group of business owners in swing state Pennsylvania just won their court case against Governor Wolf when a federal judge ruled that restrictions on business activity aimed at fighting the pandemic were unconstitutional.
