An Open Letter to Our Employees Dear Forever 21 Family, Like so many of you, we have been deeply saddened and angered by recent events in our country. We feel the pain, frustration and outrage with the racial injustices throughout our communities, and understand you want to see meaningful change. We fully support and stand in solidarity with the peaceful protests demanding systemic change! No words or social posts will convey this change, we know we must take action, not just today but everyday going forward. It starts with us listening to our employees, our customers and communities as they all share what it’s like to be a person of color in our country today. Our company values diversity and inclusion above all, and we are devoted to starting new conversations, listening intently, and most importantly learning from you. In this commitment, we continue to evaluate and evolve our internal company policies to reinforce our need for a culture of respect and equality so we can provide our customers and employees with the experience they expect and deserve. We recognize these changes are ongoing and additional progress is necessary to best address the issues facing our Black employees and customers. The current events are a painful, yet powerful, reminder that we still have a ways to go but TOGETHER we can make a difference. Our top priority is to keep safety first and ensure the well-being of all of you, our customers and our communities. Therefore, we are taking all the necessary precautions and are choosing to preemptively close or modify our hours for select stores. We are grateful for your dedication and hard work during these trying times, and thank you for your unwavering commitment to our company. If you have any thoughts, questions or concerns you would like to share please contact your manager or me at SpeakwithDaniel@Forever21.com Let’s change this together.
