I'm currently in my third trimester during peak Texas summer, and staying cool, comfortable, and stylish, is a nongeotiable for me. I opted out of traditional maternity wear and focused on lightweight, breathable pieces that keep me cool without compromising my personal style. Lately, I’ve been living in this 100% cotton button-down dress from my local boutique. It’s effortlessly versatile—perfect on its own or worn open and layered over wide-leg pants (now 50% off at LOFT). Flowy skirts with adjustable waistbands have also become a staple, especially this one from Free People that comes in fourteen stunning colors. (Yes, I grabbed more than one.) A great white tee is essential, and I’ve been loving the pointell tee from Amazon. It’s soft, textured, and just elevated enough to pull any look together. As for footwear, the Teva Hurricanes have been a game changer—supportive, comfortable, and still fashion-forward. |
It’s T-minus six days until the Fourth of July, but I’m not looking forward to the food or the fireworks—I’m locked in on the sales. Tons of brands have already launched their Independence Day deals, meaning tons of warm-weather goodies like denim shorts, one-piece swimsuits, and chic sandals, are suddenly way cheaper. It’s hard to choose favorites, but I’ll direct you to Nordstrom and Net-a-Porter, where designer finds from Tory Burch, Saint Laurent, and Staud are up to 60% off. (Every fashion person I know is building their cart as we speak.) Shop the rest of my favorite markdowns here. |
