For the majority of my golf life, my golf glove has been a bit of an afterthought. It was always the same brand, and always the same color (white — black for rain gloves). I would swap out the old one for a new version one when the palm became slick or the holes became too numerous.
But recently, I had the chance to try something entirely new: gloves from Park City, Utah-based-brand Asher.
Asher debuted in 2009 with a mission to disrupt the boring, white-glove market with options that were not only highly functional but cool and stylish, too.
The company has since expanded to include a full line of apparel and accessories, but the gloves remain a focal point, with nearly four dozen varieties available.
