Introducing a new, limited edition dive watch manufactured by Blancpain for HODINKEE. Pieces are numbered, and available exclusively in the HODINKEE Shop.

We’ve worked with Blancpain to create a modern execution of what’s widely considered one of the most important military and dive watches ever made. This is the Fifty Fathoms you’ve been asking for, one that honors the watch’s legacy as the archetypal dive watch.

The Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Limited Edition for HODINKEE features a 38mm stainless steel case housing Blancpain’s premier in-house caliber 1153.

No date is present on the original Fifty Fathoms, and there’s no date on ours either. This iteration is pure, focused, and executed in the spirit of the original – just the way we like it at HODINKEE. Together with Blancpain, we’re only making 100 of these, and they’re available in the HODINKEE Shop and the New York City and Las Vegas Blancpain boutiques for $9,900.
