The holiday season is a good time to look back on the past year and to reflect on all we’re thankful for. Here at IKEA, we’re grateful for many things—among them, our dedicated co-workers and the loyalty of our customers who stood by us through this challenging year.

We’re driven by our vision to create a better everyday life for the many people by offering home furnishings with good design and function at low prices. Never has our vision resonated with us so strongly. We feel that home is the most important place in the world, now more than ever, and we’re here to help you create a beautiful, functional home through smart products and inspirational solutions. Over the last few months, we have helped our customers transform their homes into classrooms, work spaces and gyms. Now that the holidays are here, we hope you will create time and space for baking, decorating or whatever brings you joy within the comfort of home.

If you plan to visit one of our stores, please know that we have protocols in place to help keep our customers and co-workers safe, such as: face-covering requirements, physical distancing guidance, temperature checks for co-workers, rigorous cleaning and sanitation, and strict capacity limits. If you’d like to order online, we can deliver your products to your home, or you can choose to pick up your order at your closest store through our Click & Collect service. We ask for your understanding for potential shipping delays and increased traffic to our stores.

This year has brought into sharp focus what is truly important, and that is caring for people. I would be remiss if I didn’t take this opportunity to also thank our 18,000 co-workers who came together to support our customers and communities.
