Streetwear pioneer and HUMAN MADE founder NIGO is also a serious collector of vintage Levi’s^®. For our latest collaboration, we teamed up with HUMAN MADE to create modern takes on the 1944 501^® Jean and 506 Trucker Jacket. Made in a Japanese artisan mill using selvedge denim and traditional Levi’s^® techniques.

Look closely to find the special details that take these two pieces to the next level. Like the Levi’s^® x HUMAN MADE custom embroidered graphic on the back of the Trucker Jacket featuring HUMAN MADE’s iconic duck with a red wing tip that nods to the Levi’s^® red tab. And don’t miss the custom shank buttons specially developed for this project. With this one, it’s all about modern details with nods to the past.

The collab’s campaign brings our modern recreations to life in a historic Japanese setting. It was shot on location at the Eirakukan Theater — the oldest Kabuki theater in Japan still standing in its original location — and highlights many of the elements found in traditional performances. Watch as NIGO takes you on a journey, seamlessly time traveling from the past to the present.
