Like many of you, I have been closely following the COVID-19 developments, asking what I can do to support those around me. With that lens, I want to share the steps we are taking at Lumens to ensure the safety of our employees, to do our part to help slow the spread of COVID-19 within our local communities, and to continue to serve you, our valued customers.
Our goal remains to keep the Lumens team healthy and safe and I am proud of our team’s response. We began monitoring the situation early on and have been carefully following guidance from trusted sources including the CDC, WHO and local health authorities. We stopped business travel early in the outbreak, increased cleaning protocols at our facilities, and encouraged employees who felt sick to stay at home. Today, with a few exceptions, our Lumens team is connected to our network and working remotely.
Our focus remains on providing the highest level of service to our customers. We plan to continue normal business operations while ensuring it is safe for our employees to do so. Trust that our customer service and sales teams are ready to help with any questions you may have and are available by phone or chat, like they always have been. We have increased inventory of popular products where possible to mitigate any potential supply chain disruptions and are working closely with our delivery partners to ensure the safe and timely delivery of customer orders.
We believe that by being there to help our customers we can play a small role in helping to bring some joy in these challenging times. Please continue to stay safe and healthy and as a community we’ll look forward to brighter days.
