25 years ago the original Space Jam featuring Michael Jordan – the GOAT himself – first arrived in movie theaters and instantly became a stone cold movie classic, beloved by millions of basketball fans around the world. This summer the story continues with Space Jam - A New Legacy starring LeBron James who is joining forces with the legendary Tune Squad.

But first let's take a look back and remember where Mike, Bugs & Co left things off in '96...

SPACE JAM (1996)

When we last saw the Tune Squad they were facing the evil Monstars in an all-deciding ball game. With 10 seconds left in the 4th quarter and up by 1 point (77-76) the Monstars just needed to inbound the ball and run out the clock. Tune Squad needed a miracle to win the game. On the floor for the Tunes: Michael Jordan, Bill Murray, Bugs Bunny, Lola Bunny and Daffy Duck.

The outcome is legendary and we won't spoil the ending for those of you who have not seen the movie yet. Needless to say this is a must-watch if you are even remotely interested in basketball.

SPACE JAM - A NEW LEGACY (2021)

Lakers Star and global icon LeBron James and his youngest son find themselves trapped in a virtual world controlled by an evil AI (no, not Allen Iverson). After his son is captured LeBron teams up with Bugs, Daffy and many other well-known Looney Tunes to face the digitized AI champions called the Goon Squad in a showdown for the ages.

Featuring appearances by Kyrie Irving, Chris Paul, Draymond Green, Kyle Kuzma, Klay Thompson, Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard & WNBA stars Diana Taurasi & Nneka Ogwumike.
