It squeezes my heart so much to hear from our talented artists each week telling me about their pains. The tourist attractions in beautiful Chiang Mai and in many provinces throughout the country have become lifeless places. There are no tourists and people rarely walk the streets, even in downtown Chiang Mai. Places are closed, dark and very quiet.

The first week of April is usually very colorful and lively, with lots of energy flowing because everyone celebrates our Thai New Year. This year, COVID-19 has taken our joy. But with our love, our faith, and our hope, we will all survive in these uncertain and challenging times.
