Bharti Dayal | India | "My association with Novica dates back to the very first day Novica started its operation in India. We were in the same building and Novica was in the opposite flat. Out of curiosity, I went to check out what they were into and, when I heard about their mission, I was ecstatic. I met Armenia, the company president and, when I told them I was an artist, they were as excited as I was.
Novica has been supportive in every way. I won a national award and was also featured on Ted Talks on the philosophy of Madhubani art. I represented India in Madhubani art at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris in 2016, did the largest painting of Radha and Krishna for the Belgian Museum. My work has also been shown in many national and international exhibitions. I’m so glad to be part of this global family. By promoting handcrafted art, Novica is helping to preserve nature and bring the world together in love, kindness and co-existence. We need this now, more than ever." | |
