We say ‘unity by respecting, reminding, loving, and helping each other,’ and the concept inspired me to create this motif. I also created the 'S' bead that was taken from a Balinese phrase for ‘mutual illumination.’ It symbolizes mutual support and help in facing difficulties in order to reach the 'Strength' point so the goals can be reached."

"Three deaf artisans have worked with me for a long time and we communicate in writing and sign language. This inspired me to design jewelry using the Braille alphabet and, later, the Morse Code. From the bottom of my heart, I thank these artists for their inspiration.

In these difficult times, unity is important for all nations to overcome this crisis together. Everyone around the world is suffering and our problems are the same. We must not be divided, not by skin color, or politics, or social class. I sincerely hope my Morse Code bracelet will help remind us to have much love and unity. To return to our normal lives, we must cooperate, and take care of ourselves to prevent the Corona virus."

"I thank God that Novica included me in the challenge to design a unity bracelet. I developed my design from the broom. It is very common to hear ‘unity is strength’ and this can be demonstrated with the broom. Whereas a single broomstraw is very easy to break, it’s almost impossible to break many broomstraws together.

So it is with people. One person alone may hardly be heard. But when we speak up as a group, every authority listens because they know the strength and power of many. I support the cry for unity to fight injustice in the world and have a ministry that helps widows and orphans in my area. I encourage believers to wear my unity bracelets to show their support."
