| You’re an Artisan’s VIP | There is arguably no more important sales day for our global artisans than today, Cyber Monday, the world’s biggest online shopping event. So, we’ve given it a new name, Artisan Monday, to reflect the love and loyalty that NOVICA customers have for beautifully-crafted, handmade works of art — and the incredible makers who create them (like Balvina Huaytalla, pictured above).
This year, Artisan Monday holds even greater importance. So many global artisans lost their income when tourism dried up in their countries. They lost their employees to other, more reliable jobs. Their workshops, their materials, their sales have all been impacted by the pandemic.
Our hope for this season is that customers will choose handmade, not only because it is more authentic and more meaningful, but because each item traces back to an actual artisan who has poured creativity, skill, passion, and love into it.
