Arlen Estrada

With stunning colors and geometric designs, Arlen Estrada breathes new life into an ancient ceramic painting technique. Her story is as vibrant as the vases and figurines she creates. When Arlen was six months-old, she lost her hearing to a childhood illness. Doctors told her parents she would never learn to speak. Not only did she prove them wrong, but she also learned to express herself in a way that transcends language. Her art captivates our hearts and minds, communicating her passion for family, community, God and life.

Victor Hugo Lopez

The wooden bowls of Victor Hugo Lopez would feel right at home in a sleek design magazine. With clean shapes and beautiful colors, his bowls, mortars and serving utensils are elegantly functional, while hitting that perfect note of playfulness. Victor describes himself as a simple man who uses simple tools – a lathe, a band saw, a drill and a polisher. With basic equipment, he creates something exceptional. They are works of art that, in his words, open up "a window to the world."
