Today, we celebrate the anniversary of one of our own traditions, when we would invite customers to test our web servers to prepare for the holiday rush, the most important time of year for our artisans.
In the early days, we had only three servers — lovingly nicknamed Newton, Einstein, and Gandhi. We asked customers to try to overwhelm our system, knowing that if we could withstand the stress test, we would be ready.
