New Artisans, Ancient Beauty | Meet incredible master artisans from the Silk Road and Armenia. They are new to NOVICA, but their artistic traditions and cultural heritage run deep. | NOVICA is thrilled to welcome master artisans from Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan) and Armenia. Each of these regions is steeped in its own rich history, cultural heritage, and utterly unique artistic traditions.
From the Silk Road, we find gorgeous jewelry boxes, ceramics, and textiles that showcase the region’s deep reverence for symbology and sacred meaning. With a combination of Persian, Chinese, and Russian influences, these Central Asian masterpieces reflect the stunning diversity of the region.
In Armenia, we discover jewelry, woodwork, mosaics and textiles that showcase the beauty of one of the world’s oldest civilizations. Delicate embroidery, elegant silk, stone carvings and hammered metal are just some of the details you’ll find here.
In both the Silk Road and Armenia regions, artisans have had limited access to international markets. So, we’re particularly excited to bring their truly unique creations to NOVICA customers. We know you’ll love their crafts as much as we do. | | | | | | |
