I'm Annie, co-founder of Peruvian Connection with my mother Biddy in 1976. Midway through a year of doing anthropological research in Peru, I traveled home for my Mom's 50th birthday. I brought her gift with me—the one shown above is a replica. She and her friends loved it and we decided to share more of Peru's artisan craft with the world.
