NEW DOLL TALK: THE REMARKABLE ROSE PERCY

Ruby Lane was a sponsor of the Rose Percy Project event that was held in Springfield, Illinois, in 2017. Ruby Lane's sponsorship helped to ensure the success of the day, and helped make donations possible to a variety of veterans charities. Over $109,000 was raised at the event. Born in England in the year 1861, Miss Rose Percy is arguably one of the most important dolls in American history. Recently, Ruby Lane had the opportunity to visit Rose Percy in a special exhibit and learn more about her. You can view this 'doll talk' seminar on the Ruby Lane Dolls Facebook page.

CREATING LITTLE WORLDS: DOLLHOUSES & ACCESSORIES

As with dolls, dollhouses teach us how people lived long ago. Jonathan Swift talks about them in Gulliver's Travels, and fantastic examples like Queen Mary's Dollhouse and Colleen Moore's Fairy Castle are showcases of literature and fine arts, as well as contemporary culture. We love dollhouses because they transport us to fantastic worlds of our own imagination and creation. There is no end to the miniature worlds we can create with them; no two are alike, but all welcome the collectors who love them. Shop New Arrivals in Dollhouses & Miniatures on the Dolls Lane - The Doll World's Home.

THE DOLLS LANE IS THE DOLL WORLD'S HOME

Ruby Lane is the world's largest curated website of antique and vintage dolls, dollhouses, and accessories. It is home to the experts who bring you the dolls that you have always dreamed of owning, and is a gathering place for the collectors who buy them. Ruby Lane is the 'place' where we can gather in friendship to celebrate the art of doll collecting. So, it makes sense that Ruby Lane's new Dolls Lane logo reads, "The Doll World's Home." Please pull up a chair and shop This Week's Arrivals on the Dolls Lane.

It is an exciting time to become a part of the Ruby Lane family of Shop Owners. We recently welcomed five
new doll shops since our last newsletter. Please help us welcome these new shop owners and click on "Favorite Shop" at the top of their storefront page, so you can easily see their exciting additions.

If you are curious about joining our close-knit family of shop owners, our special site Join Ruby Lane was made just for you!
