RVCA PLATFORM This month’s curated Platform T-Shirt, “Wisdom of the Ancients” comes from ANP artist Jeff McMillan, who has been contributing to the Artist Network Program since 2007. The tee features the center piece of tryptic Kunstkammer painting consisting of cryptozoology, taxidermy, rare botanical specimens, artifacts, & prehistoric fossils. The image below features the full piece, "Wisdom of the Ancients 2/3" - acrylic on paper. All housed in a private collector's gallery somewhere in Marfa, Texas.

Jeff was born in the Bay Area and graduated from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena in 2004 with a BFA in Illustration and has been teaching Illustration and comic book design there since. He has been a contribution artist in the Artist Network Program since 2007. In 2012 he founded Prigus Sport International. Jeff lives in Long Beach, CA with his wonderful wife Liv, daughter Elsa and two disobedient ex-pageant Siamese Cats.RVCA is glad to present NATIVE — a short film starring Jay Davies and friends.
