| We've been making changes, working to reduce our impact on the planet and promote its recovery wherever we can – whether by using less energy, transitioning away from fossil fuels, exploring innovative packaging solutions, developing better relationships with our suppliers, or supporting campaign groups and difference-making projects. Here are a few examples. | | | | | |

| There’s nothing inherently wrong with tree-planting as a way of reabsorbing carbon from the atmosphere – done right, it can be an effective tool in the fight against climate change. But increasingly the offset economy is providing precisely the wrong kinds of incentive, and giving businesses the green light to carry on burning fossil fuels as before. | | | | | | | |

| We work closely with an ever-growing group of charities, climate experts, athletes and brands to make real progress within our community. Ocean lovers, mountain dwellers and outdoor enthusiasts are often the first to notice changes in the environment. We're connected to it, and we're inspired to protect what we love. | | | | | |

| North Devon has become the 12th location from around the globe to be selected as a World Surfing Reserve, an international designation that recognises and celebrates the area’s outstanding surf breaks while empowering the local community to protect them. Our very own Adam Hall, Head of Sustainability, has been at the forefront of this campaign. | | | | | | | |

| Through the Plastic Cutback initiative, we are able to remove the poly bag for the last and least intensive leg of its journey. Your Surfdome gear still gets to you safe and sound, and we’ll make sure the poly bag is recycled properly. Patagonia has supported this Surfdome initiative from the start, and we welcome other brands to follow suit.
