| Dear friends, Our stores have always been the heart of our business. Every day around the country, Sur La Table teams share cooking's power to connect us and create happiness with customers. That's why it saddens us that at a time when people need comfort and support more than ever, we've made the difficult decision to temporarily close our stores, effective March 20 through at least April 2. Everyone's lives are being impacted by the spread of COVID-19, including all of us here at Sur La Table. Concern for our customers' and employees' health and well-being has always been our top priority. We rely greatly on our stores and the people there who depend on us. We also want to be a resource for our customers in happy and hard times, which we're surely in now. Everyone here at Sur La Table encourages you to still make space for home cooking, for enjoying a glass of wine, for baking treats. As we have for 48 years, Sur La Table will continue to be a place that helps you do these things. We’re creating resources to help you cook at home (which we’re all doing more these days), including some of our favorite recipes and meal prep ideas. Please join us there, as we’ll be updating content regularly. Our sincerest hope is that very soon, you'll be able to come back into our stores, where our community truly thrives.
