Art has inspired us from the beginning. Our love story with art has resulted in special watches created by artists, sponsorship of events and unique collaborations. As we say, art is in our veins.

Throwback to 1985

Our love affair began with the first Art Special by Kiki Picasso at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. The French graphic designer’s avant-garde work inspired a 140-piece edition, each in different colors.

Swatch at Biennale Arte

Swatch is a long-standing supporter of the most important event on the international art calendar, La Biennale di Venezia. This year we’re back as main partner, showcasing artworks at both the Arsenale and Giardini venues.

The Swatch Art Peace Hotel

Since 2011, the Swatch Art Peace Hotel residency has fostered creative exchange among artists, who come to live and work together in Shanghai for 3–6 months. The art they produce speaks for itself!
