Here's something I'm weirdly excited for in iPadOS: mouse support. Apple didn't announce this onstage, but it quietly added the feature to iPadOS as an accessibility feature.

It's an important addition for accessibility purposes, since not everyone can use a touchscreen, but it's also a step toward turning the iPad into more of a laptop-style device. Apple may not promote using its tablet this way, but I suspect a lot of people will when support arrives this fall.
