There are so many things to appreciate about Tuca & Bertie, which is streaming now on Netflix: the messy, imperfect friendship between its two main characters, who are 30-year-old bird ladies living in Bird Town; the abundance of cartoon boobs everywhere, seen on everything from buildings to pastries; or the sheer amount of creativity displayed in the stylized sequences, which range from Claymation to stop-motion. I got to talk to the show's art director Alison Dubois, who confirmed that yes, the show was as fun to make as it is to watch.
