I still don't have a smart TV. I've been using a regular old dumb TV with two HDMI ports that I regularly plug and unplug depending on whether I need them to connect an Apple TV, a Chromecast, or a Switch. It's a little annoying, but it's at least somewhat better than having to worry about smart TV sofware getting all clunky and weird over time.

Now Samsung is reminding people with smart TVs to run antivirus software, just in case things go awry. Not that streaming boxes are impervious to infection, but I extremely do not want to keep heading toward a world with McAfee pop-ups on my TV.
