Here's the TLDR on today's Apple news:

+ MacBook Pro: Touch Bar now on all models
+ MacBook Air: updated with True Tone, lower price
+ MacBook, MacBook Pro Escape, old MacBook Air: gone

In a lot of ways, it's Apple's most coherent MacBook lineup in a long time. The Air is definitively the entry-level model — and a solid one at that — and the Pro is definitively a higher-end option with different features.

There's still a lot I'll take issue with (come on with the 128GB of storage, Apple!), and it feels a touch late for a company that was so far ahead on laptops just a few years ago. But it's a strong step forward that could help make the MacBook Air the MacBook Air again.
