Is more better, or is less better? The age-old question!

Google just launched Android Go, which is supposed to improve the usability of Android on phones in the $100 ballpark. The stripped-down version of Android Oreo saves space on storage-limited phones and helps keep data usage light for people on constrained data plans. It works well on the first impression, but so do most low-end Android phones out of the box.

Meanwhile, Light Phone, that astoundingly minimal dumbphone that shipped last year, is getting a slightly more feature-filled sequel. Now there's an E-Ink touchscreen, a software keyboard for messaging, and it might even get more features in the future!

What a time to be alive and a quasi-minimalist.
