Last Monday, I treated you all to my baseless speculation about the Pixel 4's front-facing sensors.

This Monday, Google just went ahead and gave us all of the answers.

Continuing with its new "let's just leak all of the details ourselves and have fun with it" attitude, Google revealed today that the Pixel 4 will have face authentication for logging in and a Soli system for sensing hand gestures. There's even a picture that breaks down the whole sensor layout.

I'm still not sure how useful those hand gestures will be, but it's nice to see Google trying something different.
