A few smart oven owners have reported that their ovens have turned on in the middle of the night and started preheating to 400 degrees or higher. They're concerned — rightfully so — and they want answers.

Smart oven maker June says the customers are to blame because they accidentally remotely triggered their ovens.

The CEO of June says it's a similar problem to a butt-dial, in which someone accidentally calls another person from their back pocket. The difference here, clearly, is that instead of a funny phone call, people have hot ovens that are on for hours in their homes without their knowledge.
