Today is a big day for phone news!

First, Mark Gurman over at Bloomberg published his traditional yearly story about what Apple will announce in September and through the rest of the year. It's a lot: iPhone Pros with new cameras, new iPad Pros, a cheaper HomePod, and a whole bunch more.

Second, Google decided on a name for Android Q: Android 10. (No more dessert names.) It also created a new logo for Android that is easier to read and maybe just a little boring. But it says including the robot next to "android" makes it more "human." Just think about that sequence of words for a minute.

Third, I reviewed the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus. We also made a video and a GIF

If all of that is too much phone information for you, I am deeply sorry because more is coming, and you should probably buckle up. September and October are when all of the big consumer tech companies announce their products so they'll be on sale by Black Friday. We know what Samsung has on offer, but Apple, Microsoft, and Google still have events. And the IFA conference in Berlin is soon, which will have even more announcements.

The point is: if any of your computer or phone gear isn't doing it for you, try to hang on just a little while longer before you upgrade.
