Sometimes technology is dumb. I've got a pair of AirPlay speakers that I bought a few years back, but the company has gone out of business and hasn't updated the companion app for years — meaning that it no longer runs at all on iOS 11.

So not only are things like an upgrade to AirPlay 2 out (whenever Apple decides to launch it), but it also means that I can't configure them ever again unless I find an old iOS device. Which means that I'm pretty much stuck with my existing Wi-Fi network name and password forever if I want to keep using them. Go figure.
