Every time I'm browsing Netflix, HBO, and Amazon for something to watch, I end up with this existential dread about going to the movies. I love going to the movies. I love being able to read and talk about movies as the conversation around them is still happening. But then I end up browsing streaming services and seeing poster after poster for films I've already seen — and not finding anything else I want to watch.

So what's the point? Should I save my money and just stay home and wait six to nine months for everything to be streaming? Or should I just be grumpy about the selection on Netflix?

(P.S. For the record, I ended up paying to rent Call Me By Your Name on iTunes; it was very good.)
