Lots of things happened today! Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg got in front of Congress again and we did a live blog. Also, other articles appeared on The Verge Dot Com. Also, photos and illustrations helped give technical arcana emotional resonance. Also, you are reading this in your email right now. Also, tweets and Instagram stories, and we probably also posted something on Mastodon? That’s a lot of different kinds of media and it’s okay if you didn’t see all of it. If you want to catch up, we have a bunch of links below and you can click on them.

Oh, one more thing that I’m putting last out of an overdeveloped sense of humility that, let’s be honest, is starting to ring a little false. I launched a new weekly YouTube Show called “Processor with Dieter Bohn” (note the humility of that title). Each week I’m going to try to talk about technical things with a little more empathy than what you usually get with gadget talk. It sounds really dewy-eyed to just say that tech could use a little more kindness, but maybe let’s try it anyway, just to see what happens. You can do it, too: use a gadget to be nice to somebody today.
