Dieter got the exclusive on Google's big plan to fix Android's messaging mess with Chat. It'll be a new standard for replacing SMS and an upgrade to Android Messages! The only issue is that it's a carrier-based service, which means it's not end-to-end encrypted. Really? In this climate? Somewhere, thicc Zuck is laughing.
