Last week, I got a chance to try out Ikea's first pair of Bluetooth speakers. I really love seeing Ikea experiment with tech: it's always in a very Ikea fashion, with modular bits, assembly required, and occasionally frustrating setups.

So far I haven't loved any of the tech Ikea has made, and that held true with the speakers. They were actually easy to set up and use, but their audio quality seemed to fall apart thanks to Bluetooth compression. Still, the company is supposed to be working on speakers with Sonos for next year, so I'm holding out hope for whatever comes next.
