Amazon's making a kids edition of its Echo Dot — every child's dream. It's basically just an Echo Dot with a colorful rubber bumper around it. It also includes a year's subscription to the FreeTime Unlimited service and a two-year promise from Amazon to replace the device if it gets damaged.

I remember how excited I was to open a Furby on my eighth birthday. I imagine kids of 2018 will feel the same way when they open their colorful Echo Dot Kids Edition.
