The point of the Apple Watch's stand goal is to remind you to get up and walk around every so often, but I found that it works much better just as a reminder that time is passing. When you get that little thump, it's a silent signal that an hour has passed. It's time to center yourself. Figure out what you've done. Refocus. What have you done? Clearly not gotten up to move around.
