According to a report from Bloomberg, Google will launch the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL in October. The phones are, according to my own original reporting, the much-anticipated follow-ups to the Nexus Q. The Pixel 3 will be a simple sphere, which will be kept from rolling away by a cleverly designed USB-C to MicroUSB power brick. The Pixel 3 XL will be comprised entirely of a notch.

I'm happy to see Google continuing to try to get back on the design-and-build-your-own-hardware horse. Good things are afoot. Spherical things.

If you have any ideas for how Google can improve the Pixel series of phones, please send them to paul.miller@theverge.com with the words "color saturation" in the subject line.
