Apple wrapped up its WWDC keynote just a few minutes ago. It was a long event filled with tons of small new features coming to iOS, macOS, and more. There wasn't any one thing that blew me away, but it all added up to something that felt surprisingly substantial in what was expected to be a slow year for Apple.

In particular, Apple's work on FaceTime and Animoji continues to show how powerful iOS's chat platforms are as a lock-in tool, keeping people from switching to Android. My apologies to everyone who wants to 32-way Animoji vid chat with me this fall.
